Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished professor of psychology since 1993 and director for the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. The university is renowned as the pioneer of modern research of the eyewitness memory of children and using child victims to serve as witnesses in court. Professor Goodman is a prolific writer and has been awarded several grants and has received several international and national distinctions. She has offered advice on policy and research to many agencies and departments across the world. She is consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional groups, such as the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and also the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family policy and practice.
